2008 Prediction - PPP Will Challenge Google Adsense for Advertising and Affiliate Marketers

Yup, that's a pretty bold statement; but I said it and I believe it. I think it's about time Adsense had a bit of competition; they have a Monopoly on internet advertising, search engine ranking and PPC advertising that's a must do if you're an affiliate Marketer. Because of this, they are left to do whatever they wish with their pricing and just let the wealthy get wealthier. It's very tough to set up an ad campaign and be able to compete for top keywords without already being very successful online or independantly wealthy. I'm sure you've heard the stories again and again about how people lose their shirt in an attempt to run an adwords campaign in a desperate attempt to get some traffic so they might make a few bucks from Adsense, or get a few visitors to their site to buy their product.

I know; sounds kind of silly, but that's what happens everyday. It doesn't have to be that way, there's a new kid on the block and I predict it will take the Affiliate Marketing community by storm. It's called Pay Per Play and it doesn't rely on clicks or even purchases. All your website visitors have to do is show up. - They hear a 5 second audio ad and That's it! You get paid. How's that for making easy money.

Let me explain a bit more.  and all you need to do as a website or blog owner to make easy money with pay per play is put a small piece of code on your site - nothing is seen, it doesn't take up any space and there's no annoying popup or banner. This new concept works similar to Adsense, Pay Per Play Spiders crawl your site and; according to the content, they determine which ads to serve. Everytime a visitor comes to your site, the ad plays and you get paid. The first time I heard it; by the time I realized it was coming from my computer and not the tv - it was finished. You (the website owner) will make a 25% commission from what that advertiser paid and 5% on referrals.

Now is the time to get on board with this program as it is currently in beta as they sign up site owners. The ads will begin to run on Feb 01/08 and once this begins, they claim they will put a stop to the refferal commissions. Of course, anyone who gets in at ground level will still continue to earn referral commissions - For Life.

I truely believe that as this concept takes off, adwords prices may drop as big time advertisers will have a good alternative, so adsense will be less competetive and click commissions may drop. What better way to be sure to make it up before it happens than with a non conflicting source. And anyway, if it doesn't do much for competing with Google, it's free to sign up so it's probably worth a shot. Worst case senario, it can only add to your existing Affiliate Marketing income streams; so go ahead and make some easy money with Pay per play.
